The relatively large 2 acre building site enjoys unobstructed views across the San Fernando Valley; from Woodland Hills in the west, then northeast to Studio City and Universal Studios. 

Careful review by city officials, as well as a neighborhood planning association, was part of a lengthy process to permit the project.   

The design is traditional Mediterranean; with the residence programmed as a series of buildings anchored into the hillside, and connected together around a garden courtyard with swimming pool.  Outbuildings include a 1200 sq ft guesthouse, a gym-workout building, and pool house with changing and recreation rooms. 

To maximize the views, a walkway along a balustrade was created, which allows the owners and guests to stroll the peripheral edge while enjoying the nature and valley below.  Seating, garden beds and lookouts, are designed into the balustrade wall for added ambiance and viewing pleasure.
